I havnt been on here in a while.

Just returned back from Padstow in Cornwall after a long weekend on sleeping and surfing, it was much fun.

Photos will follow.

This week see's the highlight of the summer, as a rather large number of us travel to the Isle of Wight to enjoy some of the finest music on offer at this years Bestival.

Kraftwerk, Massive Attack, MGMT, Friendly Fires, Soulwax, Doves, La Roux to name but a few, along with a huge number of some of the planets biggest DJ's.... sounds good to me.

Oh yeah and we're sailing over there, as you do.

Bloc Party at iTunes Festival

I was lucky enough to win tickets to see Bloc Party last night and hit up the Roundhouse with Ali.
I don't think I've been to Roundhouse before, but its a sick venue and was an especially intimate gig due to its small size. I can't imagine what seeing Oasis there would be like. The crowd were predictably only interested in hearing the 'Radio 1' or 'Guitar Hero' tracks which was a shame. Props to whoever asked Kele to play Storm and Stress, bringing him to play part of the intro. I was into it. Ion Square and Biko were definite new album highlights. They also played the new single 'One More Chance' which went down well. I like it but am unconvinced about it live.
